How do I Unlock Additional Features?

Here is all that you need know about unlocking the Building Code Detail and Weather History Report

The Building Code Detail is the most comprehensive add-on we offer. This add-on covers everything in the Jurisdictional Overview has, but adds an extra layer of detail to support what Building Codes are required for this project.

The Weather History Report provides you with up to date wind and hail data that occurred within a 3 mile radius of the property you have searched. The wind and hail reports spans back 3 years to give you a comprehensive history of severe weather that occurred in the area.

Creating the Jurisdictional Overview is the first step in providing a defensible estimate, but not the last.

Here's how to get started:

To get started click Create New Project
Type in the address, select the address in the drop-down menu, and click Submit.
To create the project, click Submit.
You are now viewing the Jurisdictional Overview. Scroll down and click Unlock Building Code Detail or the Weather History. Please note that you can unlock both reports at the same time or choose one or the other.
If you choose to create a Building Code Detail report:
1. Select whether the property is Residential or Commercial. You can also fill out the Date of Loss or Date of Construction for the property. Click Submit to view the Building Code Details.
2. You are now viewing the Building Code Detail for this property. Scroll down to see all the reports you can make.
3. From here, you can now create and view the Building Code Report, Manufacturer Requirement Report, and Building Design Criteria reports. You can also click on the Code Book link that will take you directly to the building code book that is adopted by the municipality.
If you choose to create a Weather History report:
1. click the Unlock button and select Submit. You will get a pop up message showing you how many projects you have left for the month
2. Scroll down to view the snap shot of the weather history report. Click on "View Report" to pull up the pdf of the wind and hail reports.

As a final tip, you can easily share this report by clicking "Share" in the top right. Download as a PDF, email, or print at the click of a button.
