How to Troubleshoot Common SSO Login Issues

One Click Code now offers Single Sign-On (SSO) as a login option. While SSO streamlines authentication, you may encounter issues during login. Note: SSO onboarding is exclusive to enterprise customers

Here’s a guide to troubleshoot:

  • Problem: You may be inputting the wrong username or password, especially if it’s tied to a different provider (e.g., Google, or Microsoft).
  • Solution: Verify your credentials with the Identity Provider (IdP). For example, if you are  logging in via Microsoft SSO, ensure that the correct Microsoft account is used and that the password is accurate.

2. Account Lockout or Disabled Account

  • Problem: Some organizations or Identity Providers  may lock an account after several failed login attempts, or the account could be disabled.
  • Solution: Reset your password or reach out to the admin for assistance with unlocking or enabling your account. (For State Farm users, please contact your internal help desk support for further assistance).

3. Expired or Invalid Authentication Token

  • Problem: SSO relies on tokens for authentication. Expired or invalid tokens can block access.
  • Solution: Log out completely and try again. If the issue persists, please contact us

4. Browser or Cache Issues

  • Problem: Stored cookies or cached data may cause issues when logging in via SSO.
  • Solution: Please clear your browser’s cache and cookies, or use incognito mode. It may also help to try a different browser or device.

5. Multiple Active Sessions

  • Problem: You may have active sessions in multiple browsers or tabs, causing session conflicts.
  • Solution: Close all active sessions or try logging in from a single browser or tab.

6. Network or Firewall Restrictions

  • Problem: Some company firewalls, VPNs, or proxy servers might block SSO authentication.
  • Solution: You may need to turn your VPN to ensure that the network allows communication between the Service Provider (SP) and Identity Provider (IdP), and check for blocked ports or IP addresses.
