Encountering the "Oops... We're Growing" error in OneClick Code means we lack data for that specific address. This guide will help you fix it and explain how to request data addition, ensuring you can access the information you need.
If you entered an address in OneClick Code and received a green error box stating, "Oops... we're growing," this means that we currently do not have municipal data for that location.
OneClick Code provides 99.7% coverage across the United States, but in some rural or less-populated areas, we are still working on gaining access to municipal data.
What Should You Do?
Step 1: Double-Check the Address Formatting
Sometimes, minor formatting issues can affect the search results. Try the following tips to improve your search results:
- Use standard abbreviations: For example, instead of "Street," try "St." Similarly, use "Ave" for "Avenue" and "Blvd" for "Boulevard."
- Avoid extra punctuation: Skip periods or commas unless they're part of the official address.
- Try partial matches: Sometimes, typing just the street name and city or the zip code (without the house number) can yield better results.
- Double-check spelling: Minor typos can prevent the address from appearing in a search.
Step 2: Verify the Address Source
Make sure the address you’re using is accurate by cross-referencing it with a known reliable source:
- Use a map service: Check the address in Google Maps, Bing Maps, or Apple Maps to ensure the location is listed and active.
- Cross-reference official records: If the address is part of a commercial property or a government building, verify with official records.
- The best place to start is by checking county address records. If you cannot find your address under county records, you may want to check if the address you have is correct.

Step 3: Try Alternate Address Versions
If the exact address is not showing, there may be alternate or historical names or listings for the location:
- Check alternate names: For instance, some buildings may be listed under their official name instead of the street address.
- If you search for the address within Google Maps and it comes up under a different version of the address, try the one suggested by Google Maps.
- Try nearby landmarks: If the address is near a well-known landmark, try searching for that instead to see if it helps locate the area.
