- Estimated total project value: The estimated total project value of what a consumer can expect to pay.
- Estimated material cost: The estimated material cost of the project.
- Roof material type: The type of material that is planned to be used on the project. You can choose between 3 different shingle types:

- Dimensional
- 3 Tab
- Asphalt

- Roof size (SQ): The total area/number of squares (SQs) planned to be replaced or repaired for this project.
How to use the Permit Fee Calculator
Follow these steps to calculate the estimated permit fees in your local area:

Make sure you have selected the correct property type
- Select "residential" or "commercial" when initially creating your building code detail report.

Fill in your inputs for the given categories. When finished, click "Calculate" to create your report.
